Sir Alex Ferguson and Roberto Mancini are coaches of two clubs that are hostile to each other. After all, the Italian leads the Manchester City team, which is the local rival of the Scot’s Manchester United. So it is natural that both men cannot afford too much courtesy. Nevertheless, the United coach recently admitted to the media that the Citizens keeper has managed to sincerely impress him.

In fact, the two men have more in common than the locality in which they currently work. Both Ferguson and now Mancini know what it is like when you have Carlos Tevez in the team. The Argentine, just before moving to the blue rivals of the “Red Devils” played just at Old Trafford, where, however, had problems with acclimatization and was not able to show his full potential.

What he failed to do at United he was able to do at the Citizens, where for two consecutive seasons he scored more than 20 goals a year. Eventually, however, Tevez felt unhappy here as well and wanted to leave the club. The transfer, however, did not materialize and, as if against his will, the striker remained in Manchester.

Last Tuesday he expressed his rebellion and. Although the player later explained that it was the result of a big misunderstanding than his unwillingness to play in Mancini’s team.

However, the Italian coach did not even intend to listen to the player’s vague excuses and told him directly that his career in “The Citizens” is over. The club suspended Tevez for two weeks, but few believe that after that time the Argentine will appear on the pitch with Mancini.

The Manchester City coach’s firmness was praised today by Sir Alex Ferguson, who hailed the Italian’s attitude as proof of his strong character:

” – I think Roberto Mancini has given a demonstration of the strength of his character and his managerial strength and I think that is very important. Everyone has experienced different difficulties in this profession and you just have to be able to deal with it. From my point of view, decisive leadership of the team is crucial, and at the club no one can be more important than the manager himself.”

So, everything indicates that Tevez’s days are numbered in Manchester and the footballer himself would have an extremely hard time finding any allies there. So, it is very likely that “The Citizens” team will indeed decide to loan their sniper to some other team, if only to not have to put up with his behavior until January, when Mancini will surely try to sell the unruly player.

So where will Tevez go? It may not necessarily be a team from the second division in Northern Ireland, who were ambitious enough to send Manchester City their offer for the Argentine on loan, but it is very possible that the former Corinthians striker will move to another team in the Premier League. A clear interest in his loan was shown today by his first club in the British Isles – West Ham United, where Tevez played 26 games and scored 7 goals in them. “Hammers” have even committed to pay part of the player’s salary so that he could play in their team until January.

Will Tevez actually decide to leave Manchester City early? Time will tell.
