Here are the best games of the year, according to The Game Awards 2018. Check out the list

The Game Award is an award ceremony that has been very popular for several years, also because it is combined with the announcement of new games and the presentation of titles already revealed but still awaiting release. Its producer and host is industry journalist Geoff Keighley, and the first edition took place on December 5, 2014 in Las Vegas.

This year there was a lot going on in the gaming industry, mainly due to the return of the cult brand God of War and the release of the long-awaited production by Rockstar, Red Dead Redemption 2, and probably no one had any doubts that between them will be a battle for the most important title, the game of the year. So who can boast of it? Theoretically God of War, but Red Dead Redemption 2 took so many other awards that it’s hard to say who’s the bigger winner.

By the way, we got some interesting announcements, of which the most important seems to be the release date of the postapocalyptic Far Cry, namely New Dawn – the game in stores on February 15! No less interesting looks a cooperative game with heroes of American comic books, namely Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, which will arrive exclusively on Nintendo Switch console. There was also another footage from Anthem, which gives us hope that, contrary to recent reports, work on this title is going according to plan and the game will provide us with a lot of fun. Many people also waited for the announced information on a new project from the world of Dragon Age, but unfortunately… it seems that The Dread Wolf Rises is still in its infancy and there is no certainty that BioWare will finish it at all.
