How to disable AdBlock in Yandex and other browsers

How to disable AdBlock in your browser

Hello. You can find a lot of entertainment content on the web (video clips, movies, online games) for free. Often, the owners of such sites place ads on pages that allow them to earn money. But there are many solutions to block ads that cause webmasters to lose profits. To this end, they ask visitors to “turn off” such extensions to continue watching movies. Today I will tell you how to disable AdBlock in the Yandex browser and other Internet browsers.

Temporary disabling

If you see something like this on one of the resources, you can deactivate the blocker for a while:

Notification to disable ad blocker

For example, you just want to watch a few episodes of your favorite TV show, but the owner of the resource notifies you that with Adblock on, the quality of viewing will be limited. In this case, you can “turn off” the protection for a while, and then activate it again.

This method is relevant for any browser:

  • At the top of the window you should have an icon with a red shield and a white palm (like “stop”). If you click on it, you will see a menu with options – suspend (until the page reloads), do not run on this site at all, etc. I recommend choosing the first item:
Suspend Edblock
  • Press F5 on your keyboard to refresh the site and check if the warning displayed earlier has disappeared.
  • If you visit the resource frequently, you can add it to the exceptions. To do this, open the Adblock menu again and select the option – “Do not run on the site…” or “Disable on…”:

As a result, ads will be blocked everywhere except the specified resource.

Full deactivation

If the first method does not help, then you need to resort to more radical measures. You will have to disable (or even delete) the blocker in the browser options. I will now share the instructions for each browser.

Google Chrome

How do I disable AdBlock in Google Chrome browser? Here are simple instructions:

  • In the upper right corner, click on the settings icon (three vertically placed dots), from the list choose “Advanced Tools”, then “Extensions”. Or you can simply paste the link in the address bar:

  • Scroll through the list and find Adblock. On the right, uncheck the box next to “Enable”:

  • Refresh the page with the F5 key and check if the content is playing normally. If nothing has changed, you should remove the extension: there is a “trash can” icon in the same place where you turned it off. Clicking it will remove the add-on from the browser.

How to disable AdBlock in Yandex browser?

Immediately after installing this application, the ad blocker is activated by default AdGuardwhich is an Adblock analog. It can be disabled in the following way:

  • Go to settings (three vertical lines, “list” icon) and select “Add-ons”:

  • Look through the list carefully, because there may be several security plugins. This is how it was with me:

  • Try to disable / remove these items one by one until you get the desired result.

Did it work? Did my instruction to disable AdBlock in your browser help? Then I ask you to share it on social networks. If the problem remains – write in the comments.
