iPhone 13 premiere – what do we know about the new Apple flagship?

Recently, there has been a lot of unofficial information and leaks about iPhone 13. Tomorrow with Apple’s conference will turn out which of them turned out to be true. Therefore, it is worth reminding ourselves what we currently know about the new Apple flagship.

iPhone 13 premiere. Where can you watch it?

Apple has returned to its annual tradition of presenting new smartphones in September. The premiere of the latest devices will take place tomorrow. Initially, there were many conflicting reports about the date of the conference, but the date of September 14 has been officially confirmed, and invitations have already been sent. It is known that, following the example of its predecessor, the iPhone 13 will be released in four models of the same size as their last year’s counterparts. That means we’ll get a 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini, a standard version and a Pro at 6.1 inches, and the largest 6.7-inch Pro Max. For the latter two, you can count on a display that uses ProMotion technology, which will guarantee a smooth refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The overall design will remain without much change. You can certainly expect a smaller notch, but the rest will be visually similar to the iPhone 12. All models will be equipped with the A15 Bionic processor. Besides, you can count on Face ID 2.0 and improved 5G network connectivity. Once again, the battery will be the weakest side of the new Apple flagships. The mini variant will be equipped with a 2406 mAh cell. The standard version and Pro will be powered by a 3095 mAh battery. The strongest battery will boast the Pro Max, as it will be a 4352 mAh battery.

The biggest new features this year are the camera and its features. In the new iPhone 13, the portrait mode will be extended to video recording. Until now, it could only be used for taking photos. Until now, filters could only be applied to the entire screen. Now Apple is working on technology to add such effects on specific parts of the image. For this purpose, they are trying to create appropriate AI. The third addition will be ProRes capture mode, which will allow you to record video in even better quality. However, this novelty will only come to the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max.

If the reports turn out to be true, then we can expect the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 to come out in a wide range of colors. The devices will come in black, blue, purple, pink, white and red variants. Moreover, the iPhone 13 mini would come in 64 GB and 128 GB variants, while the iPhone 13 would be sold with 128 GB and 256 GB storage. For the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, you can count on more traditional colors, namely black, white, silver and gold. The stated memory versions for these models are 128 GB and 256 GB for the iPhone 13 Pro and 256 GB and 512 GB for the Pro Max.

Pricing looks as follows:

  • iPhone 13 mini – $699
  • iPhone 13 – $799
  • iPhone 13 Pro – $999
  • iPhone 13 Pro Max $1099

The listed prices may vary depending on the country of sale and memory version of the device.
