There are a lot of online services for editing images, creating collages and postcards. One of them is online photo editor Canva.com – in Russian, free of charge and with a lot of ready-made templates. Today I suggest you get acquainted with this resource. And at the end of the review you can watch a video on the topic.
Where to begin?
You can go to the description page, briefly learn about the benefits, but the developers themselves recommend to try right away – because the interface is in Russian and very simple. It won’t take you more than a minute for self-study.
If you want to get started, you should go to the registration or enter through one of the social networks. Here’s a link to the site:
I chose to sign in using my Google account. And after a few seconds, the window to create a new design was displayed:
As you can see, Canva has many blanks available for social networks – post templates, covers for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. Choose the appropriate one and move on to editing:
On the left are the blocks:
- Layouts – preset blanks (layouts), which you can use for free and make your own changes. Except that the “free” version will have the Canva service logo. And the number of templates is slightly limited, in contrast to the paid version, where the choice of 1 million images is available;
- Elements – Here you will find a lot of Frames, Illustrations, Grids, Shapes, Icons, Charts and more;
- Text – I think the name says it all;
- BkGround – set the background color, texture and other design options;
- Uploads – This displays images that you have uploaded (or purchased via special content exchanges).
Note that at the top of the window are available buttons alignment, text thickness and color, alignment and other text formatting elements.
After making changes, click on the button “Download” in the upper right corner to download the file in PNG format to your computer. Then do whatever you want with the image. In addition, you can make the project public (Make Public), so that others can see it and “take it for use” if necessary.
Online Photo Editor
Click on the link and you find yourself in the built-in picture editing tool. Now that’s something worthwhile, if you ask me!
You can add your file using the special button, or you can click on “…demo image” at the bottom (to get acquainted with the possibilities).
All tools are located at the top of the window. First, you are prompted to apply one of the filters. Under “Adjustment” you can adjust the brightness, contrast and color saturation.
Also, you can crop the picture by a given pattern or arbitrarily, resize, rotate in any direction, mirror it.
And at the end click on the green button “Download” and download the final file to your PC or go to the professional editor, which I told you about at the beginning of the article.
By the way, if you register, you can get access to a lot of free templates.
Pretty good functionality, though not entirely in Russian and the limitations of the free version, but for a simple online editing, without installing professional software, will do.
I would like to know your opinion about the Canva photo editor. Tell us about your experiences in the comments, if it is not a problem.
